A chocolate sponge with a malted Swiss meringue buttercream and crushed Maltesers in between the layers. Covered in an ombre malt/chocolate buttercream. Who need a share bag of Maltesers when you can have this?

How many layers are we talking here?
All of our cakes are three layers. That’s three sponges stacked, filled with buttercream (and other goodies, depending on the flavour!)
You Say Swiss Meringue Buttercream a Lot, but What is it?
So basically we make a Swiss meringue (egg whites and sugar), then whip it up with butter into a buttercream. It’s so much smoother and silkier than a normal buttercream – you’ve got to try it to understand!
How many people will my cake serve?
It depends how big you like your slices! Generally, we say that a 7-inch cake cuts into 8 slices or 15 party fingers, and a 10-inch cake cuts into 16 slices or 30 party fingers.
How long will my cake last?
You’re saying you’re not going to eat it all in one go? Alright then, whatever you say… Keep the cake in the fridge and pop some cling film over any exposed sponge, and it will be as good as new for several days!

How do I select a Date and Time to Collect?
You’ll do that at the checkout. Just add the cake to your basket and you’ll see a little drop down when it’s time to checkout!
When can I collect my order?
Cakes are available to collect any day that we’re open (basically just not Wednesdays), between 12:00 and 15:00.
Your order will keep overnight in the fridge in perfect condition, so you’re welcome to order the day before you need it without worry!

Do you deliver?
We don’t do liver, we’re a cake shop!
But seriously, sadly we don’t offer delivery at the moment. But at least you get to visit our lovely village of Kinver!
We make our birthday cakes in a kitchen where we handle all of the main allergens, including nuts. A lot of our ingredients, such as pre-packaged chocolate bars, may also contain allergen traces. As such, we can’t guarantee the complete absence of any allergens in our bakes, however, we can ensure that our bakes don’t use specific ingredients.
We can also adapt some of our cakes to be gluten-free or vegan. If you’d like a free-from cake, please let us know and we can discuss your requirements.
