We’re less than a 30-minute drive from major Midlands towns such as Bridgnorth, Stourbridge, Bromsgrove, Kidderminster, Halesowen, Wolverhampton, Dudley, and more, so we’re the perfect place to escape to the countryside for an afternoon treat.
Our afternoon teas are available every day that we’re open, from 12:30 pm – we just require booking at least 48hrs in advance and a £5.00pp deposit.

Our Beautiful Tearoom
Set in the picturesque South Staffordshire countryside, The Olde House Tearooms is a lovely venue located on Kinver High Street – easily accessible, with plenty of public parking nearby.
We have seating available in our cosy conservatory or delightful garden, perfect for any weather year-round. You can choose where you’d like to sit when you book a table on our website.

Bottom Tier: Freshly prepared finger sandwiches with leaves on the side. Choose three sandwich flavours from: Egg Mayo, Cream Cheese & Cucumber, Cheddar & Chutney, Ham & Mustard Mayo, Tuna Mayo.
Middle Tier: Scone baked in-house, served with fresh clotted cream and conserve.
Top Tier: Finish your afternoon tea with our indulgent homebaked treats.
Drinks: Enjoy unlimited regular tea or Americano coffee, or upgrade to a speciality tea, coffee, or other drink.

Middle Tier: Pick ‘n’ Mix – a selection of classic sweets. Let us know if your child likes (or dislikes) any particular kind of sweets.
Top Tier: Finish your afternoon tea with one of our indulgent homebaked treats. Selection varies, please ask when booking.
Drinks: Enjoy a glass of squash, apple/orange juice, or a hot chocolate.

Frequently Asked Questions about our Afternoon Tea
Do I need to book an Afternoon Tea in advance?
Yes, we need at least 48hrs notice for all of our afternoon tea bookings, please!
Do I need to pay a deposit for Afternoon Tea?
Yes, we require a £5pp deposit for all afternoon tea bookings, which will be deducted from your final bill on the day.
Within 48hrs of your chosen date, all deposits are non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances such as illness.
Do you offer Afternoon Tea for children?
We do! Please check out the menu above for our under-9s afternoon tea offering.
Please note, this is for under-9s only. It’s a different menu to our adult afternoon tea, not just a smaller portion.
Are you dog-friendly?
We’re very dog-friendly! Your furry family members are welcome to come along with you for your afternoon tea, whether you’re sitting inside or outside.
Do you offer Afternoon Tea gift vouchers?
We do! Visit our gift vouchers page to purchase an afternoon tea gift voucher.
These are digital vouchers that can be purchased and sent directly to the recipient (either straight away or on a date of your choosing), or you can send gift voucher to yourself to print off at home and give to the recipient in-person!
Do you offer Free-From and vegan options for Afternoon Tea?
Unfortunately, we can’t offer Free-From or vegan afternoon teas at the moment.
Our food preparation areas are very small, so we can’t guarantee that your afternoon tea would be free from specific allergens, especially airborne ones.
Do you offer Afternoon Tea for large groups?
Yes, we do! We can host Afternoon Teas for any large celebration, including:
- Birthdays
- Baby showers
- Christenings
- Anniversaries
- Hen parties
- and more!
Our conservatory area can hold up to around 28 guests, and our garden can hold many more.
Please note that if you’d like private hire, we do charge a per-hour fee (to help cover our costs for closing), but private hire isn’t necessary.
